Although this is a hard video to be understood in a first shot, especially the lower levels, it can be used as a filler when the topic is food. The T can ask Sts to discuss about the problem in communication between these funny men. More ideas? shoot on “comments”. =)

USA elections

I used this with some Master students, but it could easily be encorporated into an Advanced class. You can use the video to teach some complex vocab, to start a discussion about music and politics, rhetoric etc. My students seemed genuinely interested to learn a bit about the American political system and they enjoyed the song a lot and found it moving. Barack Obama is competing against Hilary Clinton (wife of Bill) to become the Democrat candidate at the next USA presidential election. A few months ago he gave a speech (called “Yes, we can”) which touched the heart of will.i.am – a rapper from the Black Eyed Peas. Will.i.am turned the speech into a song and invited lots of famous people to join him.
